Collage guide

Plan the opening block before individual windows.

A mixed collage is easier to control when photo order, overlap, gutters, and outer margins are resolved as one grid.

Build the grid intentionally

  1. Arrange photographs in rows in their intended orientation.
  2. Measure each physical print and enter width × height in row order.
  3. Choose overlap from the tightest image-safe edge in the group.
  4. Set gutters wide enough to leave sound bridges between openings.
  5. Confirm the opening block and outer margins fit the finished mat.

Transfer coordinates safely

The planner aligns rectangular openings. It cannot judge faces near an edge, inconsistent print borders, cutter overcuts, weak bridges, or visual rhythm.
